Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage Just Transition Project(s): develop intervention strategy, plan activities, communicate with stakeholders, manage reporting requirements, and communicate with funders.

  2. Propose and plan strategic measures/activities to advance organization's outcomes in the just transition and sustainable finance.

  3. Plan and direct necessary research in just transition and sustainable financing as required.

  4. Conduct strategic engagement with government agencies, financial institutions, businesses, research organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to achieve the project's and organization's outcomes.

  5. Coordinate with relevant IESR programs/projects to efficiently execute work and complete

project milestones.

  1. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the activities plan and resulting outcomes, and prepare regular reports to the Executive Director and funders as required.

  2. Develop relevant key policy messages and their means of delivery, and coordinate with the communications team for the outreach activities.

  3. Fundraising and mobilizing finance and funder relations.

  4. Managing program staff and consultants.

Profile

Qualifications, competencies, and experience

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in finance economics, public policy, management, environmental engineering, or other relevant majors. Having an advanced degree (master's or PhD) is preferable.

  2. Has a minimum of 5 years' working experience in relevant fields.

  3. Experience working and coordinating with governmental agencies and non-state actors (e.g., CSOs, universities, think tanks, or private sectors).

  4. Understand the energy transition issues and just transition.

  5. Possesses critical thinking, understands research problem-solving methodologies, and innovative

  6. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to effectively work with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.

  7. Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English verbally and in writing.

  8. Ability to work in an intercultural environment and under pressure.

  9. Willingness to travel domestically and abroad.

  10. Excellent time-management skills and possess program planning skills. 11) Excellence in using MS Office software and project management tools.
