About the Role
Are you a creative communications expert with a passion for creating engaging content and impact across multiple media and events?
We are seeking a dynamic, creative and detail-oriented Communications Manager to lead and implement our external and internal communications strategies. This role requires a balance of creative and operational strengths, with a focus on content creation, brand consistency, message discipline, and strategic engagement across platforms. You will play a key role in shaping the organisation’s public image and strengthening relationships with media, partners, and the broader community, as well as strengthening internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
As a Communications Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing JUTI’s mission.
Your responsibilities will include:
Content Strategy, Brand Visibility and Messaging
- Develop and implement a coherent communications strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Oversee the creation, editing, and consistency of messaging across all channels and materials.
- Support the CEO in external communications (including preparing visuals for presentations, social media sharing and amplification of key activities).
- Ensure the tone and voice of the organization are unified across communications platforms.
- Manage the production and timely delivery of all communication assets, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Provide detailed reports with actionable insights to inform future strategies.
- Work closely with internal teams, including event managers, designers, and core organising team, to ensure seamless and consistent communication efforts.
- Oversee budgets for communication initiatives, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while achieving high-impact results (this might include managing relations with key vendors).
- Create presentations for external and internal events, fundraising pitch decks and conferences.
Social Media Management
- Plan, create, schedule, and post content across all major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, BlueSky).
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics; adjust strategy based on insights.
- Respond to comments, direct messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Content Creation & Campaign Development
- Create engaging content for web, newsletters, press materials, social media, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design visuals, multimedia, and storytelling assets.
Website & Digital Management
- Maintain and update website content regularly to reflect current programs, announcements, and resources.
- Ensure user-friendly, accessible, and visually consistent web pages.
Media Relations & External Liaison
- Build and manage relationships with press, influencers, and media contacts.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and pitch materials.
- Arrange interviews and speaking opportunities for key team members.
- Act as the primary point of contact for communications with external partners and stakeholders.
Translation & Localisation
- Support occasional translation of communications materials to/from relevant languages (English/Thai - Mandarin is desirable).
- Ensure cultural and contextual appropriateness in multilingual communications.
