ROLE DESCRIPTION

Kenan is seeking a senior professional for the position of Program Coordinator to manage and develop the sustainable programs in Vietnam with a focus on STEM education and youth leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Project Management

  • Manage service delivery and industry knowledge as directed by donor’s requirements as well as aligned with national goals and global standard (such as Global Goals/SDGs)
  • Plan, design, implement and manage customized projects by contributing to conceptualize and design, planning, implementing, and ensuring all project deliverables are aligned with the project’s objectives and framework.

Budget Management

  • Develop, revise and utilize the Project Tracking Sheet to optimize the project resources and project deliverables to ensure the costing of project reflects the actual man day
  • Manage the profit and loss of assigned projects under the responsible
  • Manage the operations, resources utilization, (e.g. man day, financial, budgets, etc.) ensure that they are all utilized effectively and create the win-win situation of both Kenan, donor, beneficiaries
  • Ensure that project expenditure remains within budgetary line items and according to contractual agreements

Revenue Earning

  • Generate opportunities by heling to develop concept notes and proposal to support the business development team to pitch the project
  • Estimate project budget and develop financial project proposals.
  • Assist in developing and writing proposals.
  • Support the Vietnam Program Manager and partnership team to pitch to potential clients by contributing technical input.

Brand Building

  • Contribute to increase the visibility and the goodwill of Kenan in the industry through formal and informal networking
  • Contribute to content creation, support publication (e.g. Write articles, papers & research in area of expertise)

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage and engage clients and stakeholders to ensure development of service continuously
  • Conduct interim meeting (formal and informal) with clients and key stakeholders to get feedback and insights of the needs and way to improve services deliveries.
Profile

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor/master degree in Business Administration, Economics, Education or related field
  • The ability to multi-task, meet client demands and deadlines, as well as a strong results focus and ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines are also essential skills
  • At least 10 years’ work experience in project management and development, analysis, and related field in corporate engagement and at a non-profit organization
  • Strong education, economics background knowledge.
  • Be able to design the training/workshop, agenda/outline and lead the training/workshop material development/preparation.
  • Native in Vietnamese; fluent in English

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGES

  • Knowledge of Education especially TVET, STEM education and Project-based learning, is an advantage.
  • Facilitation experience.
  • Experiences in education sector and has an understanding of the education areas.
  • Familiar with the social inclusion areas.
