What You’ll Do

  • Act as an extension of the Corporate Marketing team in the APAC region as needed, with primary responsibility for PR/media relations, content marketing, customer advocacy/community management, and ad hoc global event support
  • Provide regional support and PR guidance to the regional teams on brand management, crisis management, reviewing press materials, adapting global content, supporting customer advocacy efforts, providing on-ground support for events, etc.
  • Developing and editing news releases, speeches, contributed articles, briefing documents, and other press materials
  • Craft a regional PR and content plan, including budgets, timelines, etc., aligning with both global corporate team leaders and regional leaders on key needs and opportunities
  • Identify key messages and leverage a variety of earned and owned channels to maximize the company’s brand exposure through interviews, editorials, blogs, long-form content assets etc.
  • Craft messages, talking points and presentations for regional senior management for key events - both Braze and third-party events
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests and pitch stories to the media
  • Identify regional PR/media opportunities, and opportunities to tell customer stories, including case studies, customer media stories, etc.
  • Share relevant news announcements and article write-ups across the organization and regional team
  • Support crisis communications and drive issues management as needed for the region
Profile

Who You Are

We are looking for a Corporate Marketing Manager for our APAC region to drive external communications, content, and customer marketing programs for APAC, aligning closely with the APAC go-to-market teams (Marketing, Sales, etc.) to drive brand awareness and support top of funnel growth for the business. This role will develop regionalized communications and content programs focused on brand awareness and thought leadership for Braze in APAC through a portfolio of programs, including PR, earned speaking engagements, awards, thought leadership, content marketing. The role will report into the global Corporate Marketing function, but work very closely as part of the APAC Marketing team, aligning with peers across inbound marketing campaigns, high-touch activations, events, and ABM marketing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in PR, writing, or related communications experience and demonstrate a good understanding of PR practice in global, B2B tech market
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of SEA media Landscape, specifically Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, South Korea, and Thailand.
  • Excellent self-presentation, energetic, strong work ethic as well as accountability as a team player and member
  • Experience managing freelancers, agencies, and other third-parties to help amplify
  • Fast learner with a good learning attitude
  • Proactive and takes initiative looking for opportunities to amplify broader marketing initiatives
  • Handling difficult situations and advising people within the organization
  • Complete ownership of tasks assigned and with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and Asana
