➔ Description of the mission

Position Overview

The Food Program Project Manager will oversee and coordinate Na Projects’ food-based initiatives — balancing daily kitchen operations with the design and delivery of impactful training programs. This role combines project management, culinary leadership, and community development by managing youth and refugee training programs, improving and creating menus, ensuring daily SOPs are followed, and supporting both the café and outside catering.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Capacity Building

  • Lead the SATI Youth Training Program in culinary skills and kitchen operations.
  • Facilitate the Refugee Training Program, equipping participants with skills for employment and empowerment.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to trainees in developing both technical and soft skills.

Program & Kitchen Operations

  • Develop, oversee, and maintain daily kitchen SOPs to ensure hygiene, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with café and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations at Na Café.
  • Manage procurement, inventory, and equipment for food programs.

Menu Development

  • Improve and refine existing menu offerings for Na Café.
  • Create new seasonal and culturally diverse menus aligned with Na Projects’ mission.
  • Collaborate with refugee families and chefs on special dinner and cultural event menus.
  • Design menus for outside catering and community events.

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Café Manager and Na Projects team to align food initiatives with broader social impact goals.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for food program initiatives.
  • Provide operational and culinary leadership for outside catering and pop-up events.

➔ Profile

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in culinary management, food program coordination, or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, menu development, and food safety standards.
  • Passion for social impact, training, and mentoring youth and refugees.
  • Creative approach to international and cross-cultural cuisines.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends for events or catering.
  • Thai and English language proficiency preferred.
