Work Environment

We are looking for a Waste-to-Energy Expert to support the expansion of our renewable energy consulting activities in Indonesia. You will provide technical expertise in waste management, waste treatment technologies, and waste-to-energy project development throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and concept development to engineering design, procurement support, and project implementation. The role involves close collaboration with clients, project developers, technology providers, EPC contractors, government authorities, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver technical studies, engineering services, and project advisory assignments. You will contribute to municipal solid waste (MSW), RDF/SRF, industrial waste, biomass, and waste-to-energy power generation projects while supporting the company's strategic growth in the circular economy and sustainable energy sectors.

You will evolve in an international environment and work in close coordination with other teams throughout the company to deliver projects at the highest quality standards.

Missions

  • Analyze waste sampling results and conduct technical studies to identify suitable waste treatment and energy recovery solutions.
  • Develop recommendations for waste treatment processes, technology selection, and required machinery based on waste characteristics and client requirements.
  • Develop engineering designs including design basis, battery limits, technical specifications, calculations, equipment selection, and engineering deliverables for waste-to-energy facilities.
  • Prepare estimations for engineering disciplines, equipment packages, project budgets, and overall project development requirements.
  • Provide technical recommendations, risk assessments, feasibility evaluations, and advisory services to clients and project stakeholders.
  • Support proposal preparation activities including scope definition, technical approach, engineering man-hour estimates, project schedules, and commercial inputs.
  • Develop and conduct internal technical training programs to strengthen company capabilities in waste-to-energy technologies and systems.
  • Prepare project execution plans, schedules, progress reports, technical documentation, and risk registers.
  • Supervise project implementation and engineering activities to ensure alignment with project objectives, schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
