Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Investment Officer to join our team and drive our growth through strategic funding acquisition. This role is critical to securing and scale our renewable and infrastructure projects while establishing relationships with investors who share our vision for sustainable development.

  • Research and identify opportunities from international development organizations, government agencies, foundations, and multilateral institutions
  • Lead the preparation and submission of grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funder requirements and organizational goals
  • Manage compliance, reporting, and relationship management with stakeholders
  • Maintain and upkeep of the pipeline of opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract capital and/or secure financing
  • Negotiate term sheets and work to close investment rounds
  • Represent the company at investor meetings, pitch events, and networking forums
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to market and sell renewable energy projects and infrastructure development services
  • Create compelling investment decks that demonstrate investment viability
  • Develop proposals and presentations for potential clients and project partners
  • Develop and maintain investment strength Financial models
  • Support the commercial team in structuring deals

➔ Profile

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, business development, or investment relations.
  • Proven track record of successfully securing grants or raising capital.
  • Strong understanding of the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure development sector
  • Existing network of investors or grant-making organizations in Southeast Asia
  • Knowledge of project finance structures and mechanisms
  • Experience with convertible notes, SAFE agreements, or venture debt instruments
  • Familiarity with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investment criteria
