We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Controls Coordinator to join our development team. In this role, you will take ownership of project control and coordination tasks, with direction and support from senior team members.

This position is well-suited to someone with prior project coordination experience who is confident working independently but values collaboration and guidance from an experienced development team. You will be directly involved in managing budgets, schedules, reporting, and communications to help ensure projects are delivered smoothly and successfully.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Project Controls: Monitor project execution, ensuring activities remain aligned with approved budgets and schedules.
  • Budget Tracking: Maintain cost trackers, forecast expenditures, and contribute to financial reporting.
  • Scheduling: Update and monitor project schedules, coordinating inputs from various team members.
  • Risk & Change Support: Track risks and project changes, escalating issues and proposing solutions where appropriate.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare status reports, dashboards, and meeting notes to support decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to keep activities on track.
  • Process Contribution: Support continuous improvement by suggesting ways to streamline coordination and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, project controls, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership while working collaboratively within a team.

WE EXPECT THE CANDIDATE TO:

  • Experience or coursework related to renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Have previous exposure to working with vendors or suppliers.
