
BRIEF
The Business Development Executive is responsible for developing and implementing strategic business and marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives, specifically for scheduled waste collection. The role also focuses on establishing strong relationships with customers and suppliers, as well as identifying new business opportunities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To serve HQ, branch and own customers in timely manner.
- To ensure customer’s Total Waste Generator (TWG) & other Department of Environment (DOE) requirements are met.
- To ensure manufacturing/petrochemical/automotive and Industry segment are well covered in the assigned region.
- To prepare quotation and all other related documents relevantly required.
- To arrange and work closely with branch logistics team for Scheduled Waste (SW) collection.
- To participate in corporate tender for SW/Used oils collection.
- To achieve and exceed department sales and GP target for the assigned area.
- To ensure timely payment from customers and further improve overall debtor days in line with company target.
- To maintain good rapport with and working relationships with all customers.
- To monitor competitor’s movement and report to Branch Unit's Head on regular basis.
- To prepare and submit daily reports for Business Development and prospecting.
