Position Description

Planet Partnerships is advertising for a Project and Proposal Coordinator to support new business, project management, and research across our portfolio of economic development, ecosystem conservation, and sustainable investment projects. The role will be performed from our Bali (Sanur) office, working with our international teams in the Asia-Pacific, Sub-Saharan Africa, United States, and other geographies.

Planet Partnerships is seeking a committed and engaged team player who demonstrates strategic and critical thinking, outstanding communication skills, and a passion for economic development and sustainability. The successful candidate will gain exposure to dynamic opportunities for growth across business lines. Primary responsibilities will include the following:

  • Support expression of interest and proposal development by developing clear, persuasive, and compliant submissions.
  • Lead the recruitment of external advisors for ongoing and upcoming development projects worldwide.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on various topics related to capital mobilization, infrastructure development, and sustainable finance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment on project objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with domain experts, implementing partners, private enterprise, and clients.
  • Support project travel planning and logistics for new business and project delivery teams.

This is a full-time, long-term position where we will provide ongoing opportunities for exposure, growth, and mentorship to the successful applicant.

Candidate Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as finance, economics, environmental engineering, law, and sustainable development. Master’s degrees in a relevant field are highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with a development consulting firm, government agency, financial institution, NGO, or other relevant organization.
  • Passion for economic development, environmental conservation, poverty alleviation, private sector development, and entrepreneurship.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time and task management skills.
  • Thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments working independently / in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, critical, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Thrive on challenges and continuous growth.
  • Flexible and effective in working across time zones and international contexts.
  • Speak fluent and write professionally in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
  • Experience using professional networking and talent acquisition platforms.
