➔ Description of the mission

Rapid Asia is an independent management consultancy firm based in Bangkok that specializes in evaluations for programs, projects, social marketing campaigns and other social development initiatives. We carry out program evaluations across a number of thematic areas including human trafficking, migration, gender, health, climate change, education etc. Our clients include major donors, UN agencies and international aid and development organizations. We take a regional approach to evaluations and have developed tools and indicators that can be used across borders for the purpose of evaluating program impact. Rapid Asia has to date carried out evaluations in 28 countries across Asia, Middle-East, Africa, Eastern Europe and South America.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an energetic person to join our small but dynamic team. Rapid Asia is looking for talented, motivated and passionate individuals – like you – from around the world who bring knowledge, innovative thinking and different ideas to our project team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop content for social media and blogs based on own interests
  • Assist with internal meetings
  • Engage in document writing and translation
  • Conduct desk research
  • Checking field survey data
  • Prepare interview summary
  • Analyze qualitative data and come up with key findings
  • Preparation of project materials
  • Provide support to the project team as required
  • Any ad-hoc duties

➔ Profile

Requirements:

  • Thai nationality
  • Possess a university degree, be enrolled in the final academic year or equivalent experience
  • Good command of written English, including the ability to provide accurate translations in their preferred languages, depending on the project requirement.
  • Shall be computer literate in standard software applications
  • Have a demonstrated keen interest in social development-related work
  • Flexible and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision

Selection:

The Rapid Asia team will conduct an online interview with the candidate. Following the initial interview, the candidate will be asked to write a two-page essay on a selected topic from a provided list. The final decision will be based on a balanced evaluation of both the interview and the essay.

Expected start date: 1-15 August 2025 (3 – 6 months period)
