Description of the mission

Are you passionate about coordinating impactful programs that improve the health and well-being of marginalized communities? REACH for Equity is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to support the planning, implementation, and coordination of our humanitarian and development initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with the Program Manager, technical teams, and local partners to ensure the effective delivery of integrated health programs, particularly in Maternal and Child Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and Nutrition. The Program Coordinator will play a key role in strengthening partnerships, supporting program monitoring, and ensuring that activities are implemented efficiently and in alignment with organizational strategies and donor requirements.

Profile

What We’re Looking For:

  • A university degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years practical experience in health projects/similar positions in international organizations.
  • Demonstrated experiences in program management, stakeholder management and team management skills.
  • Experience of working in a multicultural and low-resource setting
  • Good presentation skills, writing, and analytical skills; with fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Excellent software skills in MS Word, Excel, Power point (statistical software preferred) as well as Google Platform.
  • Demonstrated skills in community engagement, training, planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Ability to quickly develop a strong understanding of the local cultural and political context and be able to motivate others and work successfully within these contexts.
  • Proven experience and strong knowledge of working in ethnic areas.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to allow for travel (up to 50% of work time), variable working hours, and some modifications of tasks and responsibilities as team and project needs change.
