About Reclimate
The Global South isn’t just vulnerable to climate change… it is the launchpad for the world’s most potent solutions. At Reclimate, we are a high-growth climate-tech venture on a mission to scale durable carbon removal. We partner with agricultural leaders, plantation innovators, and rural communities across Southeast Asia to turn waste into climate wealth. By combining deep science with high-integrity carbon projects, we don’t just offset emissions; we are on a mission to revitalize community livelihoods and build lasting climate resilience!
We are fast, ambitious, and deeply mission-driven. If you want to move past the sustainability buzzwords and actually build the green economy from the ground up, you’re in the right place.
The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Associate based in the Philippines to help us expand our footprint in one of the most critical agricultural and climate frontiers in the world. This is not a rigid corporate sales job where you are a cog in a machine. You will be working directly with our CEO (a seasoned commercial pro and former Country Manager), giving you front-row mentorship on how to build a business from scratch.
We Are Looking For:
- The Biotech/Agri Graduate: You have the technical foundation but want a fast-paced, high-reward commercial role rather than being stuck in a lab. OR
- The B2B Sales Hustler: You don't know the first thing about biochar or carbon markets yet, but you know how to hunt leads, open doors, and close B2B deals. We will teach you the climate science; and you bring the energy!
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Drive Regional Growth: Lead B2B lead generation, outreach, and pipeline building across the Philippines and Southeast Asia, targeting agricultural, plantation, and corporate sustainability sectors.
- Pitch and Partner: Participate in high-stakes partner calls alongside our global BD team, confidently presenting Reclimate’s value proposition to potential clients.
- Translate the Vision: Take complex technical project details (biomass supply chains, carbon removal metrics) and turn them into compelling, client-ready narratives and pitch decks.
- Own the Project Lifecycle: Coordinate closely with our operations teams to ensure what we promise to clients aligns perfectly with project realities on the ground.
🎁 What You Will Gain
- The Ultimate Green MBA: You’ll get a comprehensive onboarding module covering carbon markets, biochar, and the mechanics of carbon projects and MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification).
- C-Suite Mentorship: You will work hand-in-hand with our CEO and Co-Founder, soaking up years of executive commercial strategy and country-management experience.
- Global Network, Local Impact: You’ll be part of a vibrant, youth-led, highly collaborative team spread across Southeast Asia. You’ll rub shoulders with forward-thinking executives, sustainability pioneers, and local community leaders.
- Real Autonomy (No "Cameras-On" Policy): We measure success by output and impact, not by how many hours you sit in front of a webcam. We give you the resources, guide you, and trust you to execute.
- The Ultimate Reward: There is nothing like seeing a deal you closed turn into a physical project on the ground. You will have the unique opportunity to travel with us to project sites across the region to meet communities and see your impact firsthand.
How to Apply
Ready to build the future of carbon removal with us? Submit your resume alongside a short CV telling us why you want to join Reclimate. If you have any past work, projects, or portfolios you’re proud of, we welcome you to add those in too!
