Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?
Responsibilities
1. Purchasing (main job)
- Responsible for managing, planning, and developing the whole purchasing activity of the company in a cost-effective way, while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
- Ensure supplier compliance with site and company requirements for safety.
- Manage vendor relationships and build up effective partnerships.
- Set out purchasing strategies to serve business needs in the Vietnam market
- Source new suppliers for purchased products and services to ensure smooth operation
- Modernize the procurement process through digitalization works
- Deal with suppliers, build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers
- Discuss and solve trouble when there are defective or unacceptable goods or services with users and suppliers.
2. Logistics - Supporting Supply Chain Director:
- Strengthen the company’s supply chain strategy
- Digitalize the logistic process
- Evaluate and report on KPIs, analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly, resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes & ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
- Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, and forklifts)
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
