➔ Description of the mission

Scope of Work

The consultant will lead and support the delivery of learning workshops and the preparation of the culminating exhibit.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Workshop Facilitation and Documentation

  • Design and deliver participatory sessions anchored in adolescent health education, adapted from the Circles of Sexuality model.
  • Facilitate interactive activities, such as carousel discussions, group reflections, and values clarification exercises.
  • Conduct and document mini zine-making workshops with youth participants.
  • Ensure sessions are gender-sensitive, inclusive, and culturally relevant.

2. Creative Curation and Exhibit Preparation

  • Work with Save the Children and youth groups to plan the design, themes, and layout of the exhibit.
  • Curate zines, photos, artworks, and other youth-made materials for display.
  • Ensure youth groups—including those from non–Save the Children communities—are meaningfully involved in exhibit design and content selection.

3. Coordination and Validation

  • Conduct validation sessions with youth participants to ensure outputs and messages reflect their voices authentically.
  • Coordinate regularly with Save the Children focal points and youth representatives throughout the process.

4. Exhibit Delivery

  • Support the logistical and creative preparation of the Children’s Month Exhibit
  • Ensure inclusive participation of girl-led groups and youth from diverse communities.
  • Provide documentation of the exhibit, including photos, highlights, and feedback from participants and audiences

➔ Profile

Experience and skill set required.

1. Demonstrated experience in facilitating participatory workshops with adolescents and youth groups, preferably in SRHR or adolescent health education.

2. Proven skills in creative documentation and curation of youth-led outputs (e.g., zines, art-based advocacy, exhibits).

3. Strong understanding of gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI) principles.

4. Knowledge of community engagement and grassroots youth organizing in the Philippine context.

5. Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including local youth groups, civil society, and government partners.

6. Excellent communication and facilitation skills in both English and Filipino.
