YOUR ROLE:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Programming, you will be working to the team on event logistics, stakeholder coordination, marketing communications, creative ideation, and community engagement. This role requires strong organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills to effectively support programme objectives and enhance community involvement.

YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

Programming Curation

  • Help deliver a variety of programs, events, and activities that engage *SCAPE's target audiences, such as youth, creatives, and community members.
  • Assist with logistics and operations for *SCAPE programs and events, including tasks like booking venues, coordinating vendors and volunteers, reviewing quotations and invoices, and solving any issues that arise.
  • Contribute to improving internal processes to ensure smooth execution of programs and events and help foster collaboration within the organisation and with external partners.

Programming Partnerships and Sponsorships

  • Manage relationships and contracts with *SCAPE's programming partners and sponsors.

Community Engagement

  • Engage with *SCAPE's community members to learn about their interests, needs, and concerns, and help ensure their feedback is considered in programming decisions.
  • Support in building and maintaining relationships with community partners both within and outside of *SCAPE.
  • Assist the Head of Department in community outreach and development efforts by helping to build a network of partners and youth communities.

Team Management & Internal Collaboration

  • Contribute to the development and execution of *SCAPE’s overall strategic plan and vision.

Profile

WHO YOU ARE:

  • At least 1 year of relevant working / internship experience in similar role in media, business, marketing or event management.
  • Team player with good networking, communication, and interpersonal skills to be able to work with a diverse set of people including staff, commercial and non-commercial partners.
  • Good comprehension of current youth consumer trends
  • Positive attitude with high degree of professionalism, creativity, and resourcefulness.
  • Must be creative, self-motivated, disciplined and able to work both independently and in teams.
  • Candidates with Events management and/or arts management qualifications may have an advantage.
