Job Description

  • Execute the area multiplication variety/vendor plan for commercial.
  • Understanding the area cropping corn dynamic for (Field crop) and ensure seed multiplication capabilities are in place to meet those needs, with clear focus on quality and customer responsiveness
  • As the technical expert, provide crop/variety spesific knowledge to grower and vendor as required ( e.g advice on field capabilities needed).
  • Own, define, and communicate grower performance against agreed KPÍ's.
  • Develop and maintain the variety repro process-supporting advancement of new varieties and refinement of existing for the area.
  • Active participant in supply chain team(s), working with the other supply chain members in the operational delivery of supply.
Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree (agronomic disipline preferred) or Agriculture (2 year experience in seed production)
  • Functional knowledge of seed production, production countries and vendor
  • Language (site or country) plus English
  • 2 years experience in seed production; seed research production and or quality management in seed production in agriculture
  • Experience in working in cross functional tearms and a matrix organization
  • Working relationships with local authorities and growers for crop production enhancement
