About the Role

The Senior Strategist – Special Projects is a new role at Tara, responsible for developing strategic pathways targeting new issue areas or levers. This role will also manage specific, time-bound regional projects, all in alignment with Tara’s core mission of empowering diverse civil society organisations to drive systemic change.

This involves:

  • Creating foundational datasets to comprehend the scope of the issue within the Tara region;
  • Evaluating ongoing initiatives by other stakeholders; pinpointing opportunities for Tara and our partner network to contribute;
  • Scouting for potential new collaborators; and
  • Devising comprehensive budgets and plans.

The Senior Strategist will spearhead the development of these strategic areas and support integrating them into our country and regional programs. For example, this could entail crafting a regional transport strategy or a regional energy efficiency strategy.
