Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping & Standalone Financial Reporting
- Manage the full spectrum of day-to-day accounting transactions (AP, AR, GL, and Cash/Bank) for the standalone Singapore entity.
- Perform timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare accurate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow) in compliance with local regulations.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedule clean-ups.
2. Order & Project Profitability Management
- Track, analyze, and manage the profit and loss (P&L) of orders, projects, or contracts.
- Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS), direct expenses, and revenue recognition rules for each transaction.
- Collaborate with the operations/sales team to flag margin discrepancies and ensure billing accuracy.
- Provide routine order margin reports to the Accounting Manager to support business decisions.
3. Documentation & Vouching Control
- Systematic filing, scanning, and digital archiving of all financial documents, invoices, receipts, and contracts.
- Maintain a strict audit trail by ensuring all journal entries are backed by valid supporting vouchers and approvals.
- Assist in retrieving documentation during internal control reviews and external audit seasons.
4. Tax & Audit Support
- Assist in preparing data for routine tax submissions (e.g., GST filings and corporate tax computations).
- Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary vouchers/documents to external auditors.
