Key Summary

The incumbent will be responsible to develop a volunteer management strategy and framework to foster strategic and sustainable collaborations with individuals and corporates to support the Foundation’s vision and mission. Manage the end-to-end volunteer management programme from recruitment to retention.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Operations

  • Develop a robust framework including recruitment and retention strategies, and risk management
  • Review, enhance and implement volunteer management policies, processes and best practices (e.g. recruitment, training, deployment, development, recognition, engagement)
  • Curate and co-curate volunteering opportunities with individual programmes
  • Monitor, review and evaluate volunteers’ performance and outcomes of volunteering opportunities

Marketing and Outreach

  • Plan, develop and manage all marketing and communications to drive recruitment and outreach efforts
  • Identify and drive effective partnerships with schools, corporates, grassroots and other organisations
  • Study emergency trends and behaviours to improve the volunteering experience with the Foundation
  • Regular engagement with volunteers and timely acknowledgement, recognition, and appreciation

Administrative

  • Manage in-house volunteer database to ensure up-to-date and accurate records
  • Manage and maintain an up-to-date library of resources and material such as policies, forms, training packs and volunteer handbook etc
  • Update and manage database of volunteers to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Any other duties assigned by the Director, Community Relations
Profile

Key Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in related fields with 5 - 8 years of working experience and track record in volunteer management from planning to operations, and preferably with working knowledge in marketing and communications
  • Possess knowledge of the NCSS Volunteer Management framework and the use of data in VMS/CMS
  • An expert in project management, process improvement and strategic stakeholder engagement both in the corporate and individual levels
  • Strong critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasker with the aptitude to adapt to multiple priorities and changes
  • Creative, resourceful, proactive and well-organized
