Who We Are

Wavemaker Impact is Southeast Asia’s leading climate-tech venture builder. We co-found startups with experienced entrepreneurs to tackle the world’s biggest emission challenges. With 18 companies across 9 countries, we’re expanding into India in 2025 to build the next wave of transformative climate-tech startups.

Our Mission

To create companies that each cut 100 million metric tonnes of CO₂e and generate $100M+ in revenue.

The Process

Forget cohorts or pre-baked venture ideas.

You’ll join us as a Founder-in-Residence for 6 months to build from zero alongside your dedicated venture-building team.

We start with the problem, not the product.

We don’t work with founders who already have a solution in hand — we’re looking for those open to exploring new problem spaces, testing hypotheses, and building what the market truly needs.

Together, we’ll:

Identify a massive climate problem worth solving
Validate market and business model hypotheses
Build early traction and prepare for funding
You’ll then co-found and lead your own startup— with our continued support.

Who You Are

Experienced founder/operator: You’ve built, scaled, or led high-growth businesses before—whether in tech, supply chains, manufacturing, energy, or agriculture—and know what operational excellence looks like.
Field-tested: You’ve spent time on the ground—talking to customers, managing teams in factories, farms, or logistics hubs—and understand how to turn real-world problems into scalable solutions.
Mission-driven: You’re committed to solving climate challenges at scale and see entrepreneurship as a lever for impact.
Open-minded: No product or pitch decks please—just curiosity, commercial instinct, and a hunger to explore big problems.
Resilient: You thrive in ambiguity, adapt fast, and know that building something meaningful takes grit.
Ready: You have a sufficient financial runway and can commit full-time to building your next venture.
