Duties and Responsibilities

Asset Management

  • Develop and implement comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) strategies to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of our photovoltaic systems across Vietnam, and other markets.
  • Conduct regular assessments and inspections to identify maintenance needs, potential risks, and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Organize, set up and collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for photovoltaic system performance.
  • Analyze performance data and generate reports to provide insights into system efficiency, energy production, and maintenance requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address performance issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work with the monitoring platform integrator to implement the platform and coordinate with construction team to set up the platform for each project.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to management.

Project Management of Asset Revamping

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for revamping existing photovoltaic assets, focusing on enhancing overall system performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the successful execution of revamping initiatives, including equipment upgrades and technology enhancements.
  • Minimize disruption to ongoing operations by implementing strategic project management approaches during the asset revamping process.

Design Support

  • Collaborate with the design teams during the planning and design phase of new photovoltaic projects.
  • Provide technical expertise to support the development of efficient and innovative solar energy systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for proposed designs, offering recommendations for optimization and compliance with industry standards.
Profile

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience working with renewable energy engineering or operations, with a minimum of 5 years in O&M management or related field
  • Must have strong knowledge of operations, technical support, and maintenance requirements applicable to Solar PV (knowledge in wind energy operation and maintenance is considered a plus)
  • Sound understanding of contracts, technical specifications, and O&M agreements, and offtake agreements
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workloads effectively
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Should be willing to occasionally travel to site, as necessary
  • Skilled to use AutoCAD, PVsyst, and similar software is a plus
  • Full proficiency in English language.
