Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the IiO Project Manager and World Animal Protection Thailand Country Director to ensure technical capacity building on farmed animal welfare to all grantees within the IiO programme and support broader learning across the wider projects.
- Assist in providing support to grantees within the IiO programme, helping them identify research needs, deliver technical input, and provide assessments in a timely and effective manner, while working closely with other teams and staff members.
- Assist the Animal Welfare Advisor, Thailand Programme Lead, Global campaign teams, grantees of the Investing in Others programme, and other internal stakeholders in the development and delivery of campaigns and local projects that support World Animal Protection’s strategic mission and movement goals.
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and partners involved in animal welfare issues, as well as relevant institutions and intergovernmental organizations that support campaign.
- Assist with the development of research projects, scientific papers, written briefs, presentations, and other materials that support campaigns, providing technical input as needed.
- Support the development of practical animal welfare projects that help World Animal Protection communicate the importance of animal welfare, particularly in line with our organizational vision and strategic priorities.
- Support colleagues by helping them use expertise and evidence to develop effective strategies for engaging governments, corporations, media, and other stakeholders on wildlife issues.
- Contribute to the development of policy positions for World Animal Protection.
