Role Overview:
As a Program Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end-to-end management of the program. Your responsibilities will encompass various facets including participant recruitment, trainer/mentor coordination, workshop/bootcamp facilitation, report generation, stakeholder engagement, and vendor sourcing. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise in new media to enhance program visibility and engagement. Your commitment to youth empowerment and community-driven initiatives will be instrumental in realizing the program's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee all aspects of program implementation, ensuring smooth execution from conceptualization to evaluation.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Identify and recruit promising participants, trainers, and mentors aligned with program objectives. Facilitate seamless onboarding processes for all stakeholders.
- Workshop/Bootcamp Facilitation: Coordinate logistics and manage the delivery of workshops and bootcamps. Foster an interactive learning environment conducive to skill development and knowledge exchange.
- Report Writing: Generate comprehensive reports detailing program progress, outcomes, and areas for improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and partners to foster collaboration and garner support for program initiatives. Act as a liaison for recruitment, venue arrangements, and program content development.
- Vendor and Resource Sourcing: Identify and engage vendors, freelancers, and resources essential for program implementation. Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- New Media Utilization: Harness the power of new media platforms to amplify program visibility and engagement. Develop innovative strategies for reaching target audiences and fostering online communities.
- Network Expansion: Leverage your network within NGOs and social enterprises to forge strategic partnerships and access additional resources. Collaborate with like-minded organizations to enhance program impact and sustainability.
- Travel Commitment: Be prepared for occasional travel within Malaysia to facilitate program activities, attend meetings, and engage with local communities.
