CAMELEON Association Inc. is a non-stock non-profit organization in the Philippines founded in 1997 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The Association is dedicated to rehabilitating and empowering girls who are survivors of sexual abuse through a strong commitment to holistic healing, community development, and advocacy campaigns against sexual abuse to ensure that there is a safe environment for survivors and other children to thrive.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for effectively overseeing the Program Officers, Residential Care, Aftercare, Advocacy, and Community Development programs.
  • Ensures the quality and effective delivery of programs and projects towards the timely attainment of targets and judicious use of resources.
  • Supervises the Program Staff and co-represents CAMELEON in the municipal, provincial and regional bodies working on children's issues. Leads and coordinates proposal writing and development, preparation of quality program reports for the funders, donors, and sponsors, budget/target monitoring, and donor servicing.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Management, or other Social Sciences.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years experience in development work particularly protection/rehabilitation of children with ten (10) years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge and skills in organizational, personnel, and casework management.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written (English and local dialect), and computer skills (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Very good report writing and proposal development skills.
  • Must have compassion in working with children, while respecting the terms of confidentiality.
  • Possesses positive leadership skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team and utilize resources effectively.
  • Must have a good grasp of community mobilization, networking, and advocacy.
  • Must be willing to stay in the center and to work beyond normal work hours and work days when necessary.
