CSV is looking for an Indonesia-based candidate to join our growing team as an Associate. You will lead and support our work developing insights and executing solutions focused on leading the energy transition via real world applications. This will also require you to develop and manage work plans as we help prepare you for the next stages of your career.


• Manage a broad set of projects ranging from administrative tasks, origination or new business

initiatives and existing transactions

• Effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders (including clients (asset owners), other

consultants, key industry players, local partners and regulatory bodies)

• Prepare/Develop research and write-ups including papers, concept notes, and presentations

• Review of existing laws and regulations, industry and economic trends, and other data required

to complete reports• Conduct of due diligence and preparation/ review of financial models, valuation and analysis

• Preparation of proposals, pitch decks, regular market/ legal/ regulatory updates, grant reports/

presentations and other donor/ stakeholder facing materials

• Preparation and maintenance of full financial models with financial statements (balance sheet,

income statement, statement of cashflows) and financial analysis

• Facilitating discussions with various stakeholders and clients whether via an engagement,

transaction, or regular updates



• Based in Jakarta, Indonesia – remote working environment

• Preferably with at least 5-year experience in a consulting/ investment banking/ corporate

finance environment (or other relevant professional services industry). Experience in power sector is a plus (or other relevant professional services industry)

• Must have strong experience in developing written proposals and preparing PPT for

clients, funders, and philanthropies

• Must be able to construct and maintain full financial models (Preference is given to

candidates with the ability to self-develop financial models for both coal or thermal power plants

and renewable energy projects.)

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Economics,

Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Quantity Survey,

Social Science/Sociology or equivalent

• Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English and Bahasa

• Ability to think and work independently, taking the initiative and ‘ownership’ of tasks, having

strong organizational and time management skills

• Proven ability to use MS Excel for complex problem solving and analysis

• Experience in using MS PowerPoint and Word for communication and report writing
