Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Officer to drive growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the renewable energy sector, a proven track record of business development success, and experience with cryptocurrency, tokenization, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and risk management. This role involves developing and executing strategies that align with our company's goals and exploring new opportunities in both renewable energy and blockchain technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in the renewable energy and cryptocurrency sectors.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Identify potential M&A opportunities, perform due diligence, and manage the integration process to drive growth and expansion.
  • Risk Management: Assess and manage risks associated with business development activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, and industry events, particularly in areas related to renewable energy tokenization, M&A, and blockchain technology.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business relationships and secure new contracts.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Manage the sales pipeline, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets, including those related to crypto and tokenization projects.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape in both renewable energy and cryptocurrency. Provide insights and recommendations for strategic planning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends. Use data to drive decision-making and optimize strategies.
Profile

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development within the renewable energy or Greentech sector. Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience with cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, M&A, and risk management is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the renewable energy market, including key players, regulatory environment, and industry trends. Familiarity with cryptocurrency, M&A, and risk management is advantageous.
  • Excellent strategic planning, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and build strong client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
