Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and target major corporate clients (e.g., Fortune 500 companies) for renewable energy solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including landowners, land agents, and government entities.
  • Negotiate and secure long-term contracts that align with the company's growth strategy.
  • Stay informed on market trends, government policies, and emerging opportunities in the renewable energy space.

Project Development:

  • Pursue both greenfield and brownfield renewable energy projects.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project development and execution.
  • Present business proposals and reports to senior management and external clients.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead and mentor a business development team.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor and report on business development activities, ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, ideally within renewable energy or property development sectors.
  • Proven success in closing long-term contracts and high-value deals.
  • Strong relationships with landowners, government officials, and industry players.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional and international environment.
  • Knowledge of the renewable energy market and relevant sales processes
