Responsibilities:
- Take ownership and act as overall lead or bid manager of the end-to-end business development cycle for clients in Penang / Kedah
- Identify project leads, through business networks with industrial players, consultant and contractors, etc.
- Leading the complete project development cycle from client’s engagement, solution development, commercial viability and proposal strategy, negotiation until contract signing.
- Develop winning strategy, guiding and directing internal support functions (technical, finance, legal)
- Customize financial modelling and tariff structure according to client’s preference
- Prepare business proposal for management approval and lead all client engagement until contract award
- Initiate, co-organize and attend marketing events (such as conferences and seminars)
- Ensure project monitoring tool is complete and up to date
- Weekly reporting to local management; and weekly activity updates to regional BD community
