About The Role

The Field Applications Engineer has the responsibility of supporting the Enphase’s Sales Team by delivering best-in-class Technical Sales Support o Enphase’s Residential and Commercial customers We are looking for an energetic, solar-experienced professional to become part of our rapidly growing Field Applications Engineering.

What you will do

  • Assess, identify, and engage potential partners. Enter partner’s info into Sales Force.
  • Introduce Enphase technology and product to partner.
  • Build creative solutions to win new accounts and develop Thailand market.
  • Assess a partner’s business and jointly developing successful strategies to incorporate and sell Enphase products in a way that positively impacts all aspects of the partner’s P&L.
  • Being on the forefront of new products that will continue to drive the Solar Energy market (microinverters, energy storage, AC modules, etc.)
  • Managing a portfolio of customers to achieve revenue and share objectives.
  • Support the Residential and Commercial Sales Organization with Product’s Technical Expertise
  • Prepare and conduct technical training programs.
  • Conduct live training, presentations, and webinars.
  • Execute customer-facing Technical Product Adoption programs.
  • Execute customer-facing New Product Introduction (NPI) field activities.
  • Develop and deliver documentation such as: design guides, line diagrams, standard BOMs, technical briefs, best practices, and training.
  • Provide clear Customer Technical Requirements feedback to Product Management and Product Development Teams.
  • Engage in specialized System Designs support activities.
  • Coordinate and execute field testing and feedback collection for new hardware and software.
  • Understanding our customers’ processes and procedures and modifying training approach(es) to promote adoption of best practices for operational efficiency.
  • Acting as liaison between our customers and the broader Enphase organization to ensure that customers’ needs are incorporated into training and product designs.
Profile

Who You Are And What You Bring

  • BS or MS ME, EE or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience is the Solar Industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in storage system configuration and implementation
  • Fluency in English (minimum B2 level) and Thai (minimum C1 level) is essential.
  • Understanding of PV and energy storage system performance and economic modeling.
  • Practical and hands-on experience and expertise with distributed solar electric systems, energy storage, and energy management applications.
  • Knowledge of instructional design concepts and principles preferred.
  • Experience with Enphase solutions preferred.
  • Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly and accurately.
  • Be able to work with technical experts to understand products, processes, and customer needs.
  • Work both independently and within a team,
  • Willing to stand by best practices and clearly articulate why they are critical to operational efficiency and success.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as business, or engineering
  • Experience in solar industry, energy industry, high technology, or conventional building trades (electrical, roofing, HVAC) is a plus.
  • Results oriented, self-motivated and ability to thrive in complex sales environment.
  • Relevant experience managing a portfolio of customers to achieve revenue and share objectives.
  • Experience in solar industry or conventional building trades (electrical, roofing, HVAC) is a plus.
  • Proven territory planning and management skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Virtual office must have easy access to major metropolitan airport.
  • Strong to expert capability in Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Salesforce
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Must be located in the Bangkok area
