Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Partnership Acquisition Officer to identify, engage with, and secure strategic partnerships that align with our organization’s goals. The ideal candidate has a background in sales and business development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building meaningful collaborations that drive growth and impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and Acquire New Partners: Research ,identify and reach out to potential partners across sectors and geographic regions. Schedule meetings with key decision makers , pitch value propositions, and close partnership deals.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing partners to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, programs, operations) to craft partnership proposals and presentations, ensure seamless onboarding and execution of partnership agreements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track partnership metrics, document progress, and provide regular updates and insights to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in partnership development, sales, fundraising, or business development
  • Proven track record of securing partnerships or client accounts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent presentation abilities
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and relationships simultaneously
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, G Suite or Microsoft Office; familiarity with data tracking and reporting tools is a plus

  • Experience working in B2B set-up, and can network with relevant sectors
  • Understanding of partnership life cycles—from outreach to execution and evaluation
