As a Financial Analyst on our Project Finance and M&A deal team, you will be right in the middle of all the action. You will be working on impactful transactions and will be accountable for the smooth execution of advisory missions relating to financial structuring, raising required debt or leading M&A equity finance transactions.

Why join the Singapore Green Giraffe team?

You will be joining a growing APAC team of around 20 professionals (“giraffes”) and work in close collaboration with fellow giraffes in Africa, Americas, Asia, and Europe on our projects.

The scope of this role will include:

  • Supporting the project manager in defining and implementing the adequate financial structure
  • Preparing, updating or reviewing financial models and cash flow valuations for renewable energy projects
  • Organising and reviewing the due diligence work prepared by other advisors
  • Performing general market intelligence on sectors of interest to the company
  • Contributing to the business development
  • Participating actively in an entrepreneurial, international and dynamic team focused on making projects happen and adding real value to our clients
Profile

The candidate should have a Masters or similar degree in Finance or Engineering from an internationally renowned institution. The ideal candidate should at least have 1 to 2 years of experience in project finance and/or M&A within the energy transition sector.

In addition, the candidate should demonstrate:

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent analytical skills and an ability to learn quickly
  • A strong understanding and mastering of financial concepts and products
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Thoroughness and organisation
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to take initiatives and responsibility for allocated tasks
  • The willingness to travel abroad
  • An additional language (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or other regional languages) would be a great plus
