➔ Description of the mission

  1. Possess skills in analyzing environmental data, such as greenhouse gas (GHG) assessment, energy, and waste management, including preparation and consulting on ISO management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 14064, ISO 50001) and Carbon Footprint. This also includes planning and implementing green building certifications such as LEED, WELL, and TREES.
  2. Have knowledge of Thai environmental laws and international standards, such as the GHG Protocol, ISO standards, and green building certification criteria. Understand clients’ operational structures across various business types, including factories, office buildings, and residential buildings, as well as the working relationships between management and technical teams.
  3. Act as a lead consultant in planning and supporting clients’ environmental and sustainability initiatives. Propose strategic approaches aligned with goals such as Net Zero, ESG, and certification requirements. Coordinate with relevant authorities to assess, audit, and monitor environmental performance, prepare reports, and provide recommendations.
  4. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to employees to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and requirements.
  5. Assess workplace conditions to conduct environmental measurements and audit environmental documentation and supporting evidence.
  6. Provide recommendations to ensure appropriate environmental management for establishments and continuously improve efficiency.
  7. Investigate root causes and analyze environmental issues and complaints, and report findings along with preventive recommendations.
  8. Collect statistics, analyze data, and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  9. Control and manage documentation within the Environmental Management System, including related documents, to support internal and external audits, and perform duties in accordance with various management system standards.
  10. Coordinate and liaise with relevant government authorities.
  11. Perform other environmental-related duties as assigned by the employer.

➔ Profile

Qualifications

  • Male/Female, aged 25 years or above
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or other related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Environmental Officer or in a related role
  • Knowledge of international environmental and sustainability standards relevant to the role, such as ISO standards, green building standards, greenhouse gas management standards, and guidelines for managing energy, waste, water, pollution, and others
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in assessing environmental impacts and mitigation measures, with the ability to advise employees on compliance with environmental regulations and requirements
  • Good interpersonal skills and a strong service mindset
  • Possession of a professional environmental engineering license and/or relevant certifications, with the ability to advise the employer (company) on effective environmental management and continuous improvement
