➔ Description of the mission

Your Mission

As Enablement Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that Makesense projects run smoothly and generate meaningful insights. You will support both Operations (finance, admin, and HR processes) and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) functions across projects.

You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager & Project Leads to streamline workflows, maintain accurate records, and support reporting, data management, and learning processes that help the organization measure and improve its impact.

Key responsibilities

  1. Operations and Administration Support
  • Support day-to-day operations, including coordination with accounting partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for contracts, permits, compliance, and organizational databases.
  • Process reimbursements, payments, and invoices with complete and accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate logistics for trainings, meetings, and project activities, ensuring all requirements are arranged on time.
  • Provide HR support, including onboarding logistics, documentation, and tracking of attendance or staff movement.
  • Manage office-related coordination, procurement, and other administrative needs.

2. MEAL and Project Enablement

  • Support Project Leads and the Impact Team in implementing monitoring and evaluation systems across projects.
  • Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from field activities, surveys, and partner reports.
  • Maintain trackers and dashboards that monitor project outputs and indicators.
  • Contribute to donor and internal reports by compiling data and success stories from project teams.
  • Support knowledge management efforts — ensuring documentation, learnings, and best practices are stored, accessible, and shared within the organization.
  • Coordinate feedback loops with project teams to help improve internal systems, processes, and tools.

Logistical Information

  • Start date: February 2026 (tentative)
  • Contract type: Fixed Term, 2-year contract
  • Work hours: We have a flexible work arrangement but our core work schedule is Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.(40-hour work-week)
  • Location: Metro Manila
  • Compensation: Php 30,000/month Gross compensation

➔ Profile

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in operations, administration, data management, or monitoring and evaluation roles.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented, with a track record of delivering quality work on time.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills — able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrates integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Basic understanding of project cycles, data collection, and impact reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, Notion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Business, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Experience working in NGOs, startups, or hybrid organizations is a plus — especially if you’ve worn multiple hats to make things happen.
