Partnership & Project management intern (3 to 6 months internship)

Jobs_that_makesense Asia is a tech platform initiated by the international organization, makesense, which operates globally to empower citizens to contribute to the ecological and societal transitions our world deeply deserves.

As we expand internationally, our makesense Asia team, comprising 20 dedicated impact enthusiasts based in Manila and Singapore, is enthusiastically taking on the challenge of bringing Jobs to Southeast Asia.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and committed Partnership & Program Coordinator Intern to assist our Partnership Manager, Charlotte, in coordinating a campaign about careers in the Renewable Energy sector, and managing various events and partnership-related tasks.

Missions:

You'll be responsible for assisting our Partnership Manager, Charlotte, in various tasks related to partnership building and coordination, as well as program coordination. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in:

  • Building partnerships with sustainability-driven organizations and coordinating partnership strategies, including scheduling meetings and discussions & follow-ups.

  • Establishing and nurturing a robust network of partners, including universities, green startups, and non-profit organizations in the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. This initiative is part of Jobs_that_makesense's upcoming campaign in the second half of the year, aimed at raising awareness about the sustainability sector and providing our audience with access to career opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

  • Event coordination, including webinars and in-person events, which entails communication campaign management, organization, and facilitation

  • Collaborate with the campaign partners to develop informative content, including articles and videos, to educate the public about the green energy sector.

  • Other tasks related to partnership building and coordination.

We are looking for profiles that meet the following criteria:

- Availability from April/May 2024 for a 3 to 6 months position.

- Previous internship experience in relevant fields, such as partnership management, program coordination, or related areas.

- You are fluent in English -. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills. This includes excellent written and verbal communication skills for scheduling meetings, discussions, and follow-ups.

- Event Coordination: Proficiency in organizing and coordinating events, both virtual and in-person, such as webinars and networking sessions. This includes campaign management, logistical planning, and facilitation skills.

- Partnership Prospecting: Capability to assist in identifying and evaluating potential partnership opportunities aligned with the campaign's objectives. This involves research, analysis, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.

- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, prioritize workloads, and maintain accurate records of partnership activities and communications.

- Ability to work autonomously, proactively, and effectively in a team environment.

- Familiarity with digital usage trends in Thailand, Indonesia and/or the Philippines is a plus.
