About your mission
The Program Officer under the Workforce Development Pillar plays a cross-program role, responsible for implementing workforce development initiatives, with a strong focus on workshop and event facilitation, partner engagement, and on-the-ground coordination. You’ll bring structure, energy, and initiative to ensure programs run smoothly and achieve meaningful impact for youth.
Key responsibilities
- Stakeholder Coordination and Community Management: You will coordinate with a diverse range of stakeholders—including programmatic partners, volunteers and ambassadors, social entrepreneurs, and participants—to ensure their continued engagement and alignment throughout different program phases. This includes supporting onboarding, maintaining stakeholder databases, managing communication channels, and ensuring timely follow-ups to keep everyone aligned with program timelines and deliverables.
- Events Management, Monitoring, & Evaluation: You will lead the planning and execution of both in-person and online events. This includes coordinating with vendors and suppliers, tracking participant registrations and turnout, preparing event materials, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders before, during, and after events. You will also lead the post-event documentation and evaluation.
- Desk Research and Data Support: You will support the programs team in conducting desk research and supporting data-related tasks. This includes gathering relevant information, cleaning and organizing datasets, and helping generate insights that inform program design and implementation. You will also lead the preparation of program reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Other Duties: Perform other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time in support of the programs team and organizational objectives.
