Salary Range: Php 30,000

Job Status: Regular employment, subject to 6 months probationary period

Work Set-up: Onsite

Area of Assignment: Far Eastern University, Sampaloc, Manila with occasional travel to various project sites in the Philippines

Overview

Established on March 30, 1946, the Nicanor Reyes Memorial Foundation (NRMF) is a non-stock, non-profit organization committed to upholding the legacy of Dr. Nicanor Reyes, founder of Far Eastern University (FEU). As the corporate social responsibility arm of the FEU Group of Schools, the Foundation empowers Filipino communities through strategic programs in education, volunteerism, and capacity-building.

NRMF remains steadfast in its mission to drive social development, nurture future leaders, and promote inclusive growth through high-impact initiatives rooted in service and compassion.

Position Summary

The Project Officer will play a critical role in advancing the Foundation’s mission by supporting the design, execution, and evaluation of its core programs. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Project Officer will help ensure smooth project operations while also contributing to the organization’s communications and internal systems.

This dynamic role calls for someone who is resourceful, detail-oriented, and passionate about development work.

Scope of Work

1. Communications and Marketing (40%)

  • Lead the development and execution of communication plans and materials for NRMF projects and campaigns
  • Draft and design compelling content for social media, newsletters, and impact reports
  • Enhance public awareness and stakeholder engagement across digital and traditional platforms
  • Strengthen the Foundation’s brand and visibility through consistent storytelling and messaging

2. Project Management (30%)

  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of ongoing and new projects
  • Maintain strong relationships with partner institutions, donors, and beneficiaries
  • Ensure accurate project documentation and regular progress tracking
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure effective use of funds

3. Administration and Finance (30%)

  • Maintain organized administrative systems and records
  • Process payroll, disbursements, and other financial transactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards
  • Support compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements
  • Contribute to overall operational efficiency and team coordination

Experience and Qualification Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Management, Development Studies, Social Work, Communications, or related disciplines
  2. At least 1 year of relevant experience in project management, preferably in the development or non-profit sector
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Strong working knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  4. Familiarity with basic admin and financial processes; Working knowledge in bookkeeping is a plus
  5. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  7. Ability to work independently and take initiative
