➔ Description of the mission

Key Responsibilities

Main role: Coordinate with JAs to manage the MRL (Maximum Residue Limit) area. The RA will:

  • Accompany farmers to monitor pest and disease conditions and rice growth in the field.
  • Provide timely recommendations on pesticide and fertilizer use.
  • Coordinate with JAs to collect data required by the ALM Manager, especially pesticide-related data.
  • Organize farmer meetings and training sessions on the MRL program to help farmers understand its benefits and how to comply.
  • Collect rice samples for testing the active ingredient (a.i.) thresholds and communicate test results to farmers.
  • Ensure 100% of farmers fully understand and comply with the MRL program.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support additional tasks such as AWD, CP tests, project management, and other field activities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agronomy, Plant Protection, Crop Science, or related fields.
  • Solid understanding of pest management, pesticide use, and rice cultivation practices.
  • Experience implementing MRL-related or farmer training projects is an advantage.
  • Strong observation and analytical skills for technical recommendations.
  • Effective communication and farmer training skills.
  • Proficient in data collection, reporting, and management.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and compliance-focused.
  • Willing to travel and work in the field in Ca Mau and An Giang.
