PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The successful candidate will be responsible for business development and sales of renewable energy opportunities (solar) in Indonesia. The successful candidate will drive the business agenda and collaborate with others to challenge boundaries and align on the strategy of Sembcorp’s transformation from a “brown to green” energy player. It's a challenging but highly rewarding business.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their energy needs and identifying opportunities for solar energy solutions.
- Pre-sales Technical Consultation: Provide expert advice on solar energy systems, including system design, equipment selection, and performance projections. Offer ongoing technical support to clients throughout the sales process.
- Opportunity Validation: Conduct initial validation of identified opportunities, assessing factors such as customer profile, load demands, site conditions, and regulatory requirements. Gather relevant information and data to determine the viability and potential risk of each opportunity.
- Project Coordination: Provide local support in project coordination, assisting project managers in site inspection, quality assurance, and risk management. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Partner Management: Identify and evaluate potential partners, including installers, distributors, and resellers, to expand the company's reach and capabilities. Develop and nurture strategic partnerships to enhance market penetration and drive revenue growth.
- Market Intelligence: Research and gather local intelligence on competitors, potential customers, market trends, and regulatory developments. Analyze competitive offerings and customer preferences to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
- Customer Support: Deliver ongoing support to clients post-sale, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering long-term relationships. Cultivate customer satisfaction to drive repeat business and referrals.
