Seven Clean Seas is an ocean-impact social enterprise dedicated to combating plastic pollution while fostering sustainable livelihoods in Asian communities. We develop impactful projects that not only clean the ocean but also create employment opportunities for locals. Additionally, we assist businesses in reducing their plastic footprint, promoting responsible consumption practices.

The Role:

As a Junior Partnerships Executive, you will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy, working closely with the founding team and existing sales professionals to expand Seven Clean Seas' partnership base. You will engage with global clients, driving initiatives to scale our impact and remove more plastic from the ocean. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our mission from day one.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Partnership Development:

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners, securing meetings and nurturing prospects through the sales pipeline.
  • Support in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and tender documents to effectively communicate our services and offerings.
  • Assist in deal-closing activities, providing operational support as needed to ensure successful partnerships.

2. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Set and work towards collective and individual sales targets and KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Utilise CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, to analyse and track qualitative and quantitative data, providing insights to enhance sales strategies.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand service offerings and evaluate potential partnerships that align with our values and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to facilitate partnership development and execution.

4. Trend Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments, identifying opportunities to scale sales, growth, and partnerships.
  • Anticipate client needs and preferences, leveraging insights to tailor sales approaches and maximize customer satisfaction.
Profile

Your Profile:

  • Outgoing and proactive individual with a hands-on approach to work.
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and environments.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or lead generation.
  • Proficiency in implementing and refining sales processes, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and convey compelling narratives.
  • Passion for sustainability and a genuine commitment to driving environmental and social impact.
  • Organized and analytical mindset, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience in Sustainability, GreenTech, or Social Impact startups.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.
  • Tenacious attitude towards combating plastic pollution and promoting environmental sustainability.
  • Formal or self-study background in the sustainability sector.
