The Organisation

With a vision of a just and thriving Asia powered by renewable energy, Tara Climate Foundation is a new and rapidly expanding philanthropic initiative focusing on South, Southeast, and East Asia (excluding China and India). Tara plays three main roles: providing grants to a diverse group of climate and energy transition partners; working with local partners to craft compelling strategies for advancing the transition; and the convening of partners within and across borders. Tara provides grants to hundreds of civil society and research organizations, thinktanks, non-state actors, and the private sector across Asia to accelerate a just and clean energy transition.
