We are looking for a mission oriented individual with strong offline sales and sales force management expertise, ideally with a background in appliances or consumer durables to help us launch our latest venture which aims to be the largest distributor of solar appliances in Southeast Asia.
Our first target market is the Philippines. As the first hire in this business you will work closely with the team at Wavemaker Impact to launch the business, develop customer acquisition strategies both offline and online, test customer demand for the initial suite of products, and build and lead a local team.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute a country launch strategy to validate value propositions and customer demand for the initial suite of solar appliances
- Source and test products
- Secure distribution partnerships including offline retail/MFI partners and online/e-commerce channels
- Build and lead local teams across sales, support and operations with particular emphasis on field sales force recruitment, training, and consumer education.
