Your new role

As a Consultant – you will play a critical role in providing technical expertise to clients and producing high-quality Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG), Legal, and EHSS Compliance Management Reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for producing high-standard documents to support due diligence processes, research studies and ensuring compliance with Vietnam laws and regulations. You will also support the development of our business in Vietnam.

Requirements

Mandatory

Integrity: Consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles.
Excellent report writing skills.
Proficiency in English, equivalent to IELTS Band 7 or above
Degree level qualification in legal, environment or related subject.
Experience in legal, environmental, and social or policy. This may be within a consultancy, government, research agency/think tank, NGO or private sector/industry organisation or relevant.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in consultancy or equivalent combined experience in consultancy and industry sectors
Fluent in Vietnamese language.
Proficient user of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.

Desired

Strong knowledge & capacity in legal matters.
Familiar with international standards and organisations such as IFC, ILO, UNDP, etc.
Extended practical experience in construction or manufacturing or other industry.
Experience in: Waste management and Renewable energy.
Experience in compliance with regulatory requirements and regulators (MoNRE and DoNRE).
