Entrepreneurship in the territories: is it the right time?

About the role
Join us at ClientEarth as a Programme Officer and help power projects tackling biodiversity loss, clean energy transition, and sustainable land use across Japan and Southeast Asia. At ClientEarth, we combine the force of law with science and economics to protect people and nature. Your role here will put you where change happens so we would love to hear from you if you are organised, curious, and care deeply about climate and environmental issues.
Meet your Manager
In this role, you will be managed by Tim Guanzon. Tim joined ClientEarth in 2022 and works on energy regulation and markets in Asia. Before joining ClientEarth, Tim was the Director for the Energy Committee under a Philippine Senator for close to 6 years. Her work focused on legislation and oversight over the entire energy value chain where she led the team providing legal and technical support for the passage of 11 new energy laws. She is one of the awardees of the Women in Renewables Asia 2019.
You will also work closely with Hiba Mohamad, Senior Programme Officer in the Energy Systems, Asia team. Hiba supports efforts to accelerate the transition to a net zero economy and limit the worst impacts of climate change. Hiba has over 6 years' experience supporting environmental and humanitarian programmes in Asia. She holds a BA in Arabic and Persian from the University of Oxford and a Certificate in International Human Rights Law from the LSE. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development at UCL.
