In this role, you can expect to accomplish the following:
● Lead in administrative support to build and maintain a foundation structure and systems including scholar and instructor communications, record keeping
● Coordinate with Marketing, Accounting and Legal teams as well as some classroom support and partner management
● Manage calendar of the Executive Director ensuring all contacts/partners are responded to in a timely manner
● Assist in setting up structure in FTW Human Resources including, creating personnel files for each FTW employee, drafting and checking employment contracts and other HR functions.
● Monitor and document developments in strategic planning and community development events and researching to provide insights and assist in creating impact reports from these findings
● Help build and grow the FTW community, which includes current scholars and alumni
● Contribute to the FTW culture, such as attending Data Science meetups, sharing work-related resources and tips, and providing ad hoc representation for FTW Foundation
● Report directly to the Executive Director
Time commitment:
● The FTW Admin Assistant will be expected to report for work approximately 40 hours/ week in-person with some remote work to be agreed upon.
● Tuesdays- Saturdays during programs or Monday-Friday when no programs are active
It would help for you to have strong familiarity with:
· Google Suite: Gdrive
· Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
· Graphic software like Canva or other presentation making tools
· Project Management tools like Asana, Trello, ClickUp
