Job Summary
K2A Management Co., Ltd. is seeking a motivated Ecologist/Biodiversity Assessment Officer to support our Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects across Cambodia. The role involves conducting ecological baseline studies, biodiversity field surveys, species identification, and habitat assessments, as well as contributing technical inputs to EIA reports that align with Ministry of Environment (MoE) requirements and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ecological baseline surveys, including flora and fauna assessments.
- Perform biodiversity fieldwork such as species identification, habitat assessment, and data collection.
- Analyze ecological data and prepare technical sections for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports.
- Support field missions in various provinces under diverse environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure ecological findings meet MoE guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation, survey records, and field data.
- Provide input on biodiversity conservation measures and mitigation recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and ethical standards during fieldwork.
