About the role

The Corporate Partnerships Executive will report directly to the Corporate Partnerships Manager. The role of this position is to support the fundraising initiatives and to maximise fundraised income for The Red Pencil (Singapore). This comes from a range of income streams including grants, corporate partnerships, major donors and the general public. The Executive will also look into the development and implementation of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

This is a 2-year contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent hire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and donor solicitation letters and emails
  • Conduct research on prospective corporate, major, trust and public donors
  • Build and manage personal and sustainable relationships with donors, including making cold calls to potential donors and building relationships with them
  • Help organize, coordinate and carry out fundraising events and campaigns
  • Assist with data entry, maintaining and updating donor databases and records
  • Generate reports and data analysis on fundraising efforts
  • Implement the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Support the fundraising team in various administrative tasks as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure fundraising efforts align with organizational goals
  • Assist in creating marketing and communication materials to promote fundraising campaigns

Key Skills

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills
  • Good project & event management skills
  • Computer literacy and manage donor management application software
Profile

Person Specification & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution; Experience in fundraising or non-profit organisations will be a plus but not mandatory
  • Ability to take initiative, priorities and work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a small, dynamic and motivated team
