JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Sustainability Project Officer, responsibilities include the following:

  • Assess clients’ current operations and practices: energy assessment, waste and water management audits, as well as GHG inventory (using carbon assessment tool);
  • Participate in the implementation of clients’ sustainability roadmaps using strategies such as digital transformation and change management;
  • Conduct training and capacity building about Zero-Waste, Climate Change, Energy Efficiency, Water Management, and promote education through Climate Fresk workshop;
  • Monitor sustainability performances, through reporting, sustainability dashboard and monitoring, and events facilitation;
  • Develop materials and support Sevea in developing knowledge management regarding the Climate Fresk activity at Sevea
  • Contribute to the company’s internal development by carrying out “back office” activities, from reinforcing its communication and marketing tools, to optimizing internal processes to run it more efficiently, supporting the team on internal training and knowledge management tool: working at Sevea implies contributing to all aspects of its development.

The level of responsibility and autonomy will be adjusted based on the interns’ profile.

Profile

REQUIREMENTS

Education and professional skills

  • On-going Bachelor/Master Degree in environmental engineering or equivalent
  • Good analytical and synthetic skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good report writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Good in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

Experience

It would be a strong plus if you have any previous working experience in the field of Waste Management, Environmental Sciences, Climate Change, or Energy Efficiency.
