While individual consumer choices are important, over 80% of all the emissions reductions necessary for the world to reach Net-Zero, require business-level action. But despite the growing momentum and ambition from companies around the world to set Net-Zero goals, there are significant challenges to delivering on these ambitions. Business leaders don’t really know how they will get there. And the very first step, of getting emissions measurement right, is hard.

Terrascope is an enterprise-grade, end-to-end decarbonisation SaaS platform. By combining AI-assisted carbon measurement & management with deep industry & sustainability expertise, Terrascope helps solve the data management, emissions reduction planning and implementation challenges that large enterprises face to decarbonise their operations and complex supply chains.

Terrascope aims to lead by example and demonstrate that business growth and carbon reduction can go hand in hand.

In this role you will:

  • Act as the voice of the customer in the definition of innovative digital solution to one of key problems in ClimateTech
  • Provide insights into product, technology and market trends in the developing space of carbon management
  • Work with strategic design to gain an understanding of user personas, pain points and journeys
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to scope, design, concept test and deliver innovative solutions
  • Bridge our proof-of-concept and commercial deployments and our platform development efforts by synthesizing product learnings into backlog items
  • Develop a product backlog, user stories, and roadmaps to drive our product-led development
  • Manage collaboration with 3rd party services and resources where required
  • Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, A/B testing, stakeholder interviews
  • Be a champion of the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible
  • Monitor and report on product KPIs
  • Assist with the development of business proposals, cases and operating plans
  • Develop materials to communicate progress to partners and clients

You should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution in a technical discipline (ex: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering), MBA or other advanced degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • 5-8 years’ experience as a Product Manager with exposure to building enterprise-grade SaaS / B2B/ data-driven products. B2C experience in a similar theme is also considered 
  • Startup experience, demonstrating your ability to thrive in a fast-paced and intellectually demanding environment, navigate ambiguity, and drive impactful product development despite resource constraints
  • Experience launching multiple digital products successfully and bringing them to scale
  • A demonstrated history of pivoting or quickly iterating in response to market/customer feedback
  • A demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that customers will love
  • A diligent attention to detail and strong technical intuition, as well as the ability to set and manage expectations at the executive level
  • An ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Working knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • The ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills to influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
