1.RESPONSIBILITIES
Acquisition management
- Reach the fundraising target for each year along with the BD team.
- Identify, update and maintain a list of donors using the donor matrix document.
- Research on each donor's past project partners and provide a brief summary table of past projects funded by each donor.
- Identify a list of potential private partners to be targeted for CSR funding.
- Create a profile sheet for each shortlisted private partner who needs to be targeted.
- Categorize the shortlist potential private partners within the 4 core cluster areas which are Skills & Jobs, Health, Agriculture & Food Security, and Green Industry & Economy.
- Research on other partners such as Govt, Academe, NGOs who might be required to be part of some of the project concepts to be submitted.
- Send out initial introductory emails based on a standard email template to all the leads.
- Set appointments and follow-up with private partners for the acquisition team.
- Coordinate with partners who agree to submit project concepts, on collecting company related data.
- Follow-up with proposal writing team on completion assigned tasks.
- Use Hubspot (Tool) to manage the pipeline and tasks.
- Ensure submission of the project concept/application to the donor.
- First review of the project concept and project proposal documents based on standard guidelines created.
Business Development
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients and donors.
- Pursue and cultivate key partnerships with various local stakeholders, and maintain relationships with current and potential clients.
- Create new business opportunities by presenting our capability, expertise, and experience in achieving social impact.
- Achieve the above through activities including presenting, negotiating, contracting, and reporting in accordance with our client/donor requirements.
- Establish linkages with beneficiary groups and community partners to facilitate effective implementation by the project team
- Support and conceptualization and implementation of business development strategy with the team.
- Attend and represent the organization at online and offline meetings, events, and conferences to grow the brand recognition and awareness of ASSIST.
